Before the game, there was a proud moment as Maxi was announced as the season’s captain 🏅 — a fitting choice for his leadership both on and off the pitch. With parents, family, and friends lining the sidelines, the stage was set for a memorable morning of football.

From the first whistle, the game was full of energy. Both teams went toe-to-toe in the opening 20 minutes, testing each other and battling hard in midfield. The Kestrels showed glimpses of their attacking intent, while Chineham threatened with quick breaks.

Then came the breakthrough: in the 21st minute, Joseph picked up the ball on the edge of the area and slipped a clever pass into Captain Maxi, who kept his cool and drilled a precise strike into the bottom corner. A historic moment — the Kestrels’ first ever goal — sending the home crowd wild!
