For a last-minute fixture, it definitely delivered!

I feel like I need a lie down after that. What a high-intensity game. Brighton came to play. They were fast, aggressive, and technically exceptional — probably the highest tempo game we’ve played in a long time. A great match to come back to after the break and get our hearts pounding.

The boys dealt with the pressure even when we looked on the back foot at times. We worked superbly as a team.

We had our periods building momentum and put together a number of great attacking phases. Both teams narrowly missed the target on several occasions, with exceptional saves from both keepers keeping the scoreline tight.

Massive well done, Kites — loved every minute of it.

I’m sure they will be asking to come back again for another go.
