Match Report: Sherborne St John Saints vs MAFC Kestrels

After last weekend’s cup victory against the same opponents, the Kestrels faced Sherborne St John Saints once again — this time in the league.

To be fair, it was a similar encounter in many ways, but once again the result went our way. The Kestrels looked sharper, more confident, and dictated the game from the start. We pressed higher, passed the ball better, and kept the Saints pinned back for long periods.

Defensively, we were excellent — limiting them to virtually no clear chances throughout the match. The team shape, communication, and work rate were spot on from start to finish.

Another strong performance, another deserved win, and most importantly, our unbeaten run continues as we stay top of the table.
