KESTRELS SOAR TO A 15–1 WIN OVER DRAGONFLIES! 💥

An early start on a crisp morning in Basingstoke saw the Kestrels take on the Dragonflies on a smooth 3G pitch — and what a performance it turned out to be! Despite the early kickoff challenge, the boys showed fantastic focus and commitment right from the off. Huge thanks to all the parents for making the journey and ensuring the lads were ready and sharp for the match. 🙌

It was great to welcome back both Joseph and Jesse! 👏 Having them return to the squad was a real boost, and we carefully managed their minutes as they continue to recover. Also, a massive shoutout to Thomas for travelling to support the team — wishing you all the best in your recovery! 💪

The opposition offered a brief early test, keeping us honest in the opening ten minutes, but once the Kestrels settled and found their rhythm, there was no looking back. While we occasionally dropped to the opponents’ tempo early on, the lads soon lifted the standard, moving the ball better and making the most of their chances.

The second half was a real showcase of Kestrels football — crisp passing, great movement, and plenty of goals! The team looked confident, creative, and determined, giving everyone a chance to shine. We also had the opportunity to give Joseph, Jesse, and later Stanley some valuable pitch time, with Joseph and Ted both stepping up brilliantly between the posts! 🧤
