*Game Highlights: Kestrels v Basingstoke Colts Dragons*
Firstly, let’s get the bad out of the way. My sincere apologies to everyone — an unfortunate and completely random incident before the game took my full attention away from setting up and getting ready. I want to thank everyone who offered their support afterwards, and a special thanks to Dave for stepping in and taking the boys while I sorted things out.
Now, on to the *football…*
What an dominant 12–1 win against what we expected to be stronger opponents than last week! I’m not sure whether they weren’t as strong as we anticipated, or if our 10 lads simply took control from the first whistle and refused to let up — but we dominated from start to finish.
We looked solid across the pitch — confident, composed, and committed. Every player backed each other up, showed great teamwork, and played in the right spirit throughout. The boys’ energy, communication, and willingness to support one another made a huge difference today.
We did allow our opponents a consolation goal — a small lapse in concentration as we stood off in midfield, giving them a chance to play through and finish well. Henry had no chance with that strike, but that was just one moment in an otherwise outstanding performance.
A 12–1 scoreline is fantastic, though we even left a few more goals out there — and that’s never a bad thing! I couldn’t be prouder of how the lads played today.
Time to rest up, recover, and get ready for the next challenge, but superb proud of all the lads, excellent performance. 💪

🏆 Man of the Match
*Zac* – Scored and assisted, but most importantly played with real confidence. Took on his man, beat him in 1v1s, and delivered excellent crosses into the box. Superb performance.
